D. Joe Rockett and Matthew H. Griffith recently attended the 20th Meritas Annual Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California from April 7, 2010 through April 9, 2010. The meeting was attended by more than 264 Meritas member attorneys from 138 firms in 52 countries. The meeting explored themes of globalization with keynote speaker Adrian Wooldridge, journalist for The Economist, presenting The New Face of Globalization: How Today's Hyper-Competitive Global Market Will Change Your Legal Practice. At this meeting, Matt completed his one-year term as Chair of the Leadership Institute and participated in a presentation on Engaging and Integrating Young Lawyers Into Meritas and Your Firm. Andrews Davis is a founding member of Meritas, a worldwide alliance of independent business law firms with some 6,800 lawyers in 173 firms in more than 73 countries. Meritas is present in all major economic centers worldwide.
