Andrews Davis was a "Groundblessing Sponsor" of the American Indian Cultural Center Groundblessing event on November 1, 2005 in Oklahoma City. Several members of the firm attended the Groundblessing Luncheon as well as other activities that occurred throughout the day. Kennis M. Bellmard II, an enrolled member of the Kaw Nation, was honored to serve as part of the Kaw Nation delegation during the Processional at the Groundblessing Ceremony.
Kennis M. Bellmard II was a guest instructor at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, on November 8, 2005. The topic of the lecture was the political and legal history of the Miami Tribe.
Leif E. Swedlow will teach Pretrial Litigation as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Oklahoma City University School of Law during the upcoming Spring, 2006 semester. He has previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at the University.
Kennis M. Bellmard II attended the 62nd Annual National Congress of American Indians Convention and Trade Show, "Celebrating 30 Years of the Indian Self-Determination Act," in Tulsa, Oklahoma during October 29, 2005 through November 2, 2005.
Sandra Benischek Harrison attended the Primer on the American Indian Probate Reform Act on October 28, 2005. The conference was presented by the Oklahoma Indian Bar Association.

- Sandra Benischek Harrison attended the 13th Annual Oklahoma Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect and Health Families Oklahoma 2005 on September 30, 2005 at the National Center for Employee Development. The conference was presented by the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect.

On October 15, 2005, Team Andrews Davis participated in the Komen Oklahoma City Race for the CureŽ, with over 11,000 racers beginning and finishing in the Bricktown area of Oklahoma City. This was the first year that Andrews Davis's attorneys, employees, family members and friends participated in the Komen Oklahoma City Race for the CureŽ as a team, with nearly 50 team members.
This cause is an important one to Andrews Davis. Of our team members, five are breast cancer survivors. Although the Komen Foundation is a global organization, with Races held all over the world, up to 75% of the money raised in the Komen Oklahoma City Race for the CureŽ stays in Central Oklahoma. The Central Oklahoma Affiliate of the Komen Foundation gives grants to local community groups to help educate and screen women from medically underserved populations throughout its ten county service area.
