Jesse primarily practices in the firm’s tax, estate planning, business, and banking departments. His experience includes structuring new business entities, documenting the purchase/sale of businesses, drafting lease agreements, representing clients in tax controversies, estate planning for complex estates, and assisting banks with loan documentation, collection litigation and bankruptcy matters.
He is admitted to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court all Oklahoma District Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma and the United States Tax Court. He serves as the Treasurer of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Section of Taxation.
Jesse obtained an LLM in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He was in the top 5% of his class at the Oklahoma City University School of Law and graduated summa cum laude. He received an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jesse worked five years for the State of Oklahoma Office of State Finance working on state budget issues.
In high school, he played tennis. Never one to be confused with a speedster, Jesse played mostly doubles. Nowadays, Jesse loves spending time with his family, reading biographies on early US presidents, and occasionally spending time on the golf course looking for his ball.
