Education:
Roland Tague was admitted to the bar in 1965. He received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma in 1962. Roland graduated from the University of Oklahoma with his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1965.
Experience:
Tague is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association where he was twice elected a delegate. As a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, he was selected Outstanding Young Lawyer in 1972. In addition, he was twice elected a Director and served as Chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee from 1996 to 1999. As a member of the Professional Economics Committee, he was instrumental in creating Oklahoma's first college degree program to educate paralegal students. This resulted in Tague teaching paralegal studies at Rose State University and the University of Oklahoma for many years. Tague is also a member, as well as past president, of the Oklahoma City Real Property Lawyers Association.
Since 2004, Tague has been a member of the Oklahoma City Historic Preservation Commission. He has also served as a mentor in the Oklahoma City Public Schools.
