Education:
Mr. McMahan received a Bachelor of Arts Degree cum laude in News Communication from the University of Oklahoma in 1994, where he served on the editorial staff of The Oklahoma Daily student newspaper. He received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1996. He is licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, in the courts of the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa, and is admitted to the practice in before the federal courts for the Western District of Oklahoma, the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Experience:
Mr. McMahan joined the Firm in 2006, bringing with him an extensive background in all aspects of Native American law and practice, complex civil litigation, bankruptcy/creditors' rights, and employment defense.

Mr. McMahan practices in the Firm's Native American Law, Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights and Litigation Departments.

Mr. McMahan is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas*, the Tarrant County (Texas) Bar Association, and the Dallas Bar Association.
