Education:
Mr. Barth received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yale University in 1959. He received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1962.

Experience:
Mr. Barth joined the Firm after its merger with Bohanon & Barth in 1979. He has over 30 years of experience in the practice of law and is especially noted for his skill in contract negotiations for local, national and international clients.

J. Edward Barth is a native Oklahoman with the Oklahoma City law firm of Andrews Davis, a Professional Corporation, of which he is a shareholder and director. Andrews Davis is a member of Meritas, a worldwide alliance of over 170 independent business law firms who can serve clients who encounter differing legal systems. His primary practice areas are in business, contract and real estate law representing clients throughout the world. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Who's Who in American Law and Super Lawyers in Oklahoma. He has been honored by the Oklahoma Bar Association as Lawyer of the Month. He currently is Chairman of the Committee on Admissions and Grievances for the U.S. District Court, Western District of Oklahoma, Trustee of the Oklahoma County Industrial Authority, and Director for the Oklahoma Humanities Council. He served as Chairman of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Citizens Oversight Board. He is also a Past President and Trustee of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. He is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Michigan Law School and served as law clerk to Chief Judge A. P. Murrah of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit prior to entering private practice.
