Education:
Ms. Zachritz received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado State University in 1985. She received a Juris Doctorate Degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1991. She is licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Minnesota, Texas, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and is admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, all federal District Courts in Oklahoma, the Northern District of Texas, and the District of Minnesota.
Experience:
Ms. Zachritz joined the Firm in 1999, bringing with her a background in employment defense, commercial litigation and insurance defense.
Ms. Zachritz is a shareholder and director of the firm and practices in the Firm's Employment and Labor and Litigation departments. Her employment practice primarily involves representation of employers in all types of employment issues, from compliance issues under state and federal laws to employment disputes. Her experience includes litigation and mediation of discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination claims. Ms. Zachritz also drafts employment policies and employee handbooks. Her litigation practice primarily involves complex commercial litigation and litigation in state, federal, and appellate courts.
Ms. Zachritz serves as a volunteer attorney for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children and serves on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Ms. Zachritz is a Master of the William J. Holloway, Jr., American Inn of Court and currently serves on its Executive Committee. Ms. Zachritz is the co-author of the chapter on Oklahoma product liability law appearing in "Product Liability Desk Reference: A Fifty State Compendium", Morton Daller (ed.), 1997-1999. She is listed as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer.
